Top computer manufacturers HP, Lenovo and Dell said that they would not be able to make their products vinyl plastic (PVC) and brominated flame retardants (BFR’s) free by the end of 2009 as promised. Apple however is successfully phasing out these toxic chemicals that are a health hazard and threat to environment
